Ahh, Christmas. The time of "CRAP! I forgot about her/him!" and "What to get, what to get?" and other fun lines. Sometimes it's hard to just sit back and enjoy your family and remember what Christmas is about. But, once the crazy sessions of wrapping for 2 hours is over, and you're with your family sitting around, its a lot easier to remember the real reasons. So, Merry Christmas and I hope everyone has a wonderful last couple weeks of 2009, before the New Year begins! ~Shaina

Wow, I haven't written in forever! I have had a lot to do in these past months, and my plate keeps getting more piled on. I guess that's what it means to start growing up. I'm really excited for Christmas, to get away from school...but I'm going to do a lot of homework! :( Well, I had a sweet 16 birthday party that I went to today. It was really fun, we dressed up semi-formal and we didn't really do anything fancy, but we had a scavenger hunt and we hung out. It was a cool idea...I still need to think of something fun to do for my sweet 16. Almost everythings been taken and I want something original! So the search begins! :D Anyways, the countdown for Portugal begins, 34 days! Wooh! I'm excited to go out of the country! I'm not so excited to be missing school for 2 weeks, but hopefully it won't be anything to hard to make up. I'm only worried about math and AP World...oh well. So, I just wrote out an entire word, but then I tried to edit it, but it wouldn't let me. So then I copied to word and fixed it...but when I tried to copy it back onto this blog...it wouldn't let me! So I'll post it tomorrow. I need sleep! ~Shaina

So this week has been very...interesting. That's the best word I can come up with. The beginning of the week was good, until Thursday. My choir teacher on Wednesday said he wasn't going to be there Thursday or Friday. I cringed...literally, I cringed. Our class has problems focusing to say it nicely, and I was afraid for problems. Since there aren't usually any choir subs, he has students lead the warm-ups and basically the whole day. Different students do different things, and some people don't like have people telling them what to do, which I understand, but it was terrible. A whole bunch of drama went on, and it was scary. So today wasn't as bad, since our teacher came back this morning for a little bit, and he told the sub to just have us write our solfege instead of singing. So today wasn't as bad, but still, I really don't like it when my teachers leave. *sigh* Anyways, I wrote about Owl City a while back. I really do like their music, it doesn't

It's been so long since I've blogged, and my inspiration for blogging now is....Lela's P-day tomorrow! Wooohh! :) I'm pretty excited, and since Lela can look at my blog, I figured I should write something for her to see. Hmm...first. Halloween! That's somewhat big, first we had the ward halloween party on Thursday. That was fun, I invited my friend Amy and it was fun! We had chilie and went trunk or treating and then just hung out and ate candy. It was actually a lot of fun, even if it doesn't sound like it. Then actual Halloween, Savannah, Kinsey, Amy, and I all went trick or treating at Kinsey's neighborhood. Her neighborhood had some of the big houses, and we went to those as quick as we could. Sadly, they didn't have anything amazing...just regular candy. Well, there was this one house that had full sized candy bars..but they gave us Swedish Fish. I really hate Swedish Fish. Well, I think I have talked about my research paper on here... I finished! I just have to wait for Daddy to come back from watching his football game with his friends to check over it, and it will be submitted, printed, and put away! Hopefully, he won't have to much to change! :) Well, I took a 6 question math test last week on Tuesday, and I was somewhat worried about it. Because first of all, 6 questions and second one question was worth 40 points! So I had to keep waiting to get it, and on Thursday he said to check the grade book later that night and it might be up. So I went to the football game that night, since we didn't have school on Friday, and forgot to check it since it was so late. So then Friday Danielle and I went and got our hair cut! I'm finally able to blog again! :) Last week was homecoming and school became my second home. Thursday I stayed for 18 hours...18 hours at school is a long time, and I was only awake for 19 hours. So I was busy all week. I had to make up a lot of math homework on Sunday... don't worry! I got it all done, and I understood it. Saturday we went to Wet'N Wild which is a water park so I didn't have any time to do homework...which I was fine with. But then come Monday, I had school. Today I had two tests! One in AP World, that I feel pretty confident on and then Algebra 2. I felt confident on that one, except for this one problem that was out to get me, but hopefully my confidence will come through. But it is math, and with me who knows. So in AP World we have a rough draft due on Thursday for a research paper. Friday night was a football game and our team won! I went home with Savannah and then Christina came over too and we slept the night. Then that morning we got up at 7 in the morning and drove all the way to Titusville to see Kinsey, Adam, Mason and Derek run for cross country. We got lost a couple of times, but managed to get there in time to see Kinsey in the middle of her race and we got to see the boys too. It was fun and they all did really good! Then after that we drove back to the school to take Adam and Christina home, and me too. Then I had to quickly get ready to go back to school for Choir Rehearsal. It was actually really fun and I had been worrying that it wouldn't be, so I was pleasantly surprised! Then I came home and we got to go to a dance and I was really excited! *Note: This is actually from the 16th, I didn't have enough time to post it last night! :)* Yes, pepper jelly. It's actually peppers made into jelly. And surprisingly it's good! My mom makes it and I think I shall make it my stress food. I've been really stressed lately and I've noticed I like to eat tons of food when I'm stressed. The problem is that I get out of school at 2:12 and I want lunch, because... school lunch isn't always very filling. So I want dinner as soon as I get home, but we don't eat until like 6. So I eat all this food that doesn't fill me up and I keep eating because I'm not full. Don't worry, I'm not going to become obese or anything. I still exercise...or have good intentions to exercise. Ahh , school. I had to get up at 4:22 today after a week and a couple of days sleeping in until 11. The injustice of being sick. Fortunately I had a pretty good day and I was able to get through the day with only one major coughing attack. :( I had to take a benchmark in English and I finished and was just sitting there twiddling the thumbs when it hit me. I hate that! It's all quiet and then you have to sneeze or cough and it's a loud one. *sigh* Oh well, I made it to the hallway before the really loud ones came. I feel bad for the kids in the hallway...they probably didn't know what was going on. ;) So also at school, I got to get all of the homework assignments that I missed. I have to take a total of 3 tests. One in AP World, Math, and Spanish. I was prepared for math and AP world and then my Spanish teacher said she had one for me too. Ugh. Hello again! So today has been fun, I feel like I've gotten over the flu even more! Hah, take that! :) Anyways, I'm left with a runny nose and the slight cough. Hopefully I will be even more over it tomorrow! Today I had to do chores as usual and then I got a call. Someone needed me to babysit! I haven't babysat in a while, and I really needed the money, and then mom says I can't accept the money. *slams on mental brakes* WHAT? And then I realized it was a church event, so I really shouldn't accept it. *sigh* But the kids were adorable and I had a lot of fun, and got showed up by a 5 year old in air hockey. Anyways, I did get payed! They said they were going to pay me and thats that. Well, they didn't say that exactly, but hey. I won't argue with them! :) So I got home and was really hungry. All I had was a peanut butter and honey sandwich. Not really filling for dinner. So I got on facebook and started to Heather who gave me something new to obsess over! Ow

I love how totally obessed people can get over tv shows or any other thing and no one will think its too weird! I mean, they could think what you are obessing over is weird, but not the obessing part! :) My cousin Heather showed me take180 while she was here and I fell in love with the minisodes of I <3> Anyways, right now the Holiday is on, just because it was the only thing on and its at the end. Its actually a pretty good movie except for a couple of scenes, but I really relate with Iris and I like how everything turns out. I'm just waiting for the parentals to come home and again nothing really good to eat in the house. I did find a huge bag of m&ms buried under the many pounds of chocolate chips that we have. So this past week I've been sick with the flu. I have no idea if it was the swine flu or just the regular flu. Hopefully not swine. Anyways, I've been sick since Monday and its Friday. I hate germs. I have already missed two tests and I'm gonna have so much fun making up all the work I've missed. Whats the point in skipping if you can't enjoy it? *sigh* Well, hopefully I'll be better by Sunday or even Saturday. Sunday is stake conference and then the youth conference video thing, I really want to go and see everyone again. *crosses fingers* Anyways, it's been a relaxing week minus blowing the nose constanly and coughing. I think I have now seen every episode of Phineas and Ferb, Suite Life on Deck, and Suite Life of Zack and Cody. I have a blog! I've been wanting one for a long time, I just could never think of a title! Hopefully this one will stick. So I'm going to figure out how to use this gismo!
